It is Thanksgiving time!! I love this holiday. It is not my favorite but it is high on the list. It seems strange that we have to set aside a day to be thankful... but i am thankful. So thankful I can't even put it into words. This year God has blessed Jason and I in ways I could not even have imagine. This year I am very thankful for God moving in my life. it is my #1 Item. I sense His presence every day in my life. I know his direction for my life. I know he is working in many different areas around me. I see His hand at work! I can honestly say he is my best friend. I am learning things about my Jesus I never imagined I would learn. I stand in awe of him.
My #2 is Jason. Wow- what an incredible husband that God has blessed me with. I know that I am what I am today because Jason believes in me and supports me. I have had the honor of standing beside Jason for 15 years, and I don't regret it at all. I am totally in love with him and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together.
#3 all of my great kids. For the joy they bring me everyday and the smiles and their hugs. They are my greatest treasures! They are worth more to me than I could ever communicate to them and my prayer is that they will grow up and find that Jesus is all they need!
I will have to finish my 4-10 a little later. But I will. I hope all of you have a very blessed thanksgiving and that you are surrounded by God's peace.
In case I forget I am thankful for you my friends. Happy Thanksgiving!

A day off! 11/17/2008

Today is my day off. I spent last Monday at home and got so much done. Laundry, cleaning. Saturday I was home most of the day and I cleaned out the storage area, and Jason's office. So far today, I have got the laundry going and then I went and looked for a new christmas tree. I love Christmas decorations. I love decorating. I really WANT a 12 foot tree this year. But they are huge and they take up so much space. Not to mention they are expensive. So I might settle on the 9 foot one.  I also bought a few christmas presents this morning. I think we know what we are getting the boys for christmas we just need to get it. The girls I have a pretty good idea. The thing is that with the kids, the older ones want really big expensive things so they might only have 1 or 2 gifts under the tree but Kailyn has a lot of little things on her wish list. So it will look like she gets more when we probably won't spend as much on her as the others. Oh well!
Jason is taking some time off this week, he has lots of vacation days to use before the end of the year. I hope we get to spend some of that time together. We have been so crazy busy latley we have spent very little time together. We are working on getting our schedules under control so that we can spend more time with our kids and each other. There is so much to do around the house: lawn work, kitchen cabinets that are still not painted, painting and redoing his office. There is so much to do when you own a house.
Well, I guess I should get off here and s
