A New Day! 04/29/2008

I was thinking today about all the things we keep inside and fret about. You know all the things that we worry with or about. Money, children, our relationship with others, our relationship with God, and I was struck with something. It takes a lot of time and engery. I get so tired of all of the worrying i seem to do. And worrying is suppose to be something we dont' do, so how come we do?

So this morning as I got up and was praying, I ask for God to help me not to worry. To lay "the stuff" at his feet and leave it there. I have some friends who are really going through difficult time, we are facing things we never thougth we would face, and yet God is still here, he is still on the throne, and he is still in the business of working with the "mess" of our lives and making some beautiful.

So I encourage you to "lay' it down today, and take hope in the fact that God is working!

Have a blessed day!

These are some of the thoughts I've been having too...just trying to let some "stuff" go. We have to or it will just eat away at us! Laying it down is a good way to put it too. That's what I need to do. Thanks for the reminder. :)

I know you wrote this awhile ago, but I just read it today. Good timing. :)
