Wow! I am actually going to blog! Jason just gave me the info to log in to our very own website and do this. I am so excited. I am not sure when was the last time I blogged but I thought it was time for an update. Now it is trying to think where to start.

Let's start with the kids- I can't belive how big they are all getting. Brooklyn is about a half of an inch shorter than me. She steals my shoes and I look all over the house only to spot them walking out of her middle school. She is a great student and I think is finally adjusting to her new school.

Jordan is quickly approaching my height. He still has a ways to go but I know very quickly I will be looking him square in the eye- then he will be looking down on me. He of course is still the same ole Jordan. He could spend all day playing sports. He hates it we acutally make him go to school instead of play all day.

Colton will turn 10 in just a few days! I just can't believe it. Of course his birthday always makes me think how thankful I am that he is here to bring a smile to our faces. And trust me he does. He is growing into quite the young man. He loves spending one on one time with Jason. He likes for dad to play Rock Band with him.

Kailyn what can we say about her- she is our a little lover! She loves to give hugs and set right up beside you and watch TV or read a book. She is quite the social butterfly. She loves playing with her friends and being outside. When she is inside you can find her coloring or drawing and watching the smurfs- her mom's favorite cartoon!

That brings us to Jason. In February he was promoted to Director of Technology at Community America. He loves his job. He is still trying to get the hang of it but has enjoyed the challenges it brings. He is a great husband and father.

Well, I am still working at BreakPointe and loving it. I am so excited about the many things we are doing here. Somedays it is overwhelming but I love it when I see a dream come together and Children actually enjoy being at church. Granted not every kid enjoys being here but it is rewarding to see new kids every week have a great time learning about God.

Jason and I celebrated 13 years of marriage in March! God has truely blessed our lives. And we are thankful for everything we have been through in 13 years. The good the bad and the ugly. It had taken me a while to get there but I am truely thankful for it all.

We also moved back to Overland Park at the end of last year. And we love our home. It has room for everyone to have their own space. Now here is the shocking thing- I who have been completly against pets am about to go and get us a puppy. It is fur ball. And so cute! She will not get any bigger than 8-10 pounds and I have just fallen in love with her. My children are thrilled and my husband is rolling his eyes. I convinced him of this venture by telling him it was better than me asking him for another baby! His response was" i just said those exact words to my brother not 10 minutes ago!" So as soon as the little fur ball comes home- i will post pictures. She is a Teddy Bear- which means she is mutt ( Shih Tzu crossed with a Bichon.)

I know this is long and I will wrap up with this- Read the book "The Shack" It is an amazing book. Fiction but it filled with truth. I will post more about that very soon! Have a great Wednesday!
