Lately it seems like there is an abundant of needs to pray about.. Not just in our own home but in the lives close to us. It is overwhelming. Last Sunday we were meeting for staff prayer before church and we were going over all the "heavy big" stuff we knew that had happen in the lives of those who went to our church and on our staff... and it was a bit overwhelming... But as we prayed I found myself thanking God that none of it catches him off guard or overwhelms him. He has it all under control and isn't panicking about any of it. Oh how I wish I was the same way.

It has been really rough- and I am not sure how all of it will turn out... or understand why some of it happen but I just have to cling to that hope I have in Christ. That he is enough. That he will supply and meet every need. That he is the One and Only who can give me Peace. Nothing else can compare to that hope... And even in the middle of the storm, he is still faithful...

So tonight I close with prayer....
Dear Lord, you are the author of true peace and Hope. It is in you that we find rest. Lord, I may be overwhelmed with all the big stuff that is going on in our lives and those lives around us but you Lord aren't. I lift to you every need and ask in your strong name that you will answer prayers according to your will. I worship you tonight Lord because you are my Abba Father, and love me. Thank you for your love, and your hope. In your name we pray! Amen
